Mark McAfee understood the dignity in all work and, with humor and determination, labored tirelessly for the economic well-being of all people. The productivity of American workers has generated tremendous wealth over the past twenty years. Yet this bounty has gone exclusively to the wealthiest among us. Every contribution to the McAfee Memorial Fund gives voice to a demand for economic justice. This Fund gives all of us a way to honor Mark's life and work by picking up where he left off.

When I met Mark, I worked just as hard as I do now and did not make a living wage.
